Miru · the pet that becomes you

It only believes what it sees.

Miru is a slime that turns your real life into a creature. How you move, sleep, train, and stay off your phone slowly shapes what it grows into. It can't be lied to. It never punishes you. Nothing ever resets. You just live, and it becomes a creature only your kind of life could raise.

Every habit app turned you into its employee.

You downloaded a tracker to fix your life. Then the tracker handed you a job: log the meal, tick the box, protect the streak. Miss two days and you come back to a graveyard of broken chains and a cartoon that is disappointed in you.

So you deleted it. Not because you stopped caring about your life. Because the app made caring feel like homework.

And here is the quiet part: you could always lie to it. Tap "done" without doing anything and the confetti fires anyway. The reward meant nothing, because nothing was ever actually watching.

Miru is not a tracker. It is a witness.

Miru connects to the sensors you already carry, your phone and your watch, and quietly notices the signals you choose to share. You never log anything. You just live, and it sees.

Movement

Steps and walks, straight from your phone or watch.

If you drift for a week, Miru does not die, sulk or shrink. It curls up and waits for you. Pets do not keep score.

Your life decides what it becomes.

Every Miru starts as the same small slime, but the slime is only its childhood. When it has witnessed enough of your life, it sheds that body completely and becomes a creature. Winged, horned, hooved, whatever your days have been quietly building toward.

Iron mornings feed the mighty line. Deep sleep and long walks feed the serene line. Evenings that beat the scroll feed the quiet line. The rarest lines only open to balance.

final forms are kept dark until someone earns them

Miru is a mirror, not a slot machine. Live like your gym partner and you will both raise something mighty, and you will both have earned it. Change how you live, and what you raise changes with you.

The final forms stay hidden on purpose. You meet yours by earning it, and founders see the art first. The launch set of creatures is finite and will keep growing. Honesty over hype, always.

The Founder's Egg

Miru will be free to download at launch, with a paid Plus tier. But there are exactly one hundred Founder's Eggs, and they will never be sold again.

  • Your egg number, 1 to 100, engraved on your pet's profile forever
  • Lifetime Plus · planned at ₹999 or $29 a year once it launches, so the egg pays for itself inside year one
  • The Founder's Shell · a look only the hundred can wear
  • Your name in the Founders' Grove inside the app
  • A founder's vote on what gets built next
₹999 in India · $29 everywhere else
Same sting, different wallets. Both hold the same egg.
100 of 100 still available. This counter is real. It started at zero sold, and it will only ever show the truth.
The promise: refund anytime before launch, no questions asked. After launch, you get 60 days to decide whether Miru is what this page said it would be. If it is not, full refund. And if this idea does not find enough believers to be worth building, every single egg is refunded in full.

Where Miru is headed

At launch · Android first

The day you install it, Miru wakes up already shaped by your last seven days, so it is yours before you have lifted a finger. From there it reads movement, workouts and sleep through Health Connect and your watch, and your off-phone time measured by Android itself. Every evening it shows you what it witnessed that day, no logging, ever. Live enough and it sheds the slime for its first real form.

Soon after

Show Miru: record slices of your offline hobbies and let your pet witness them. The Fuel log: say what you ate, out loud, and get advice that already knows how you trained and slept that day, which no calorie app can see. Your pet on your home screen and watch face. The iPhone version.

Honest note: food is self-reported, so it never feeds your pet's growth. It only shapes your advice. Lie to the Fuel log and all you win is worse advice.

Honest note: Apple limits what apps can see about phone usage, so Presence will work more loosely on iOS. Android sees more. That is Apple's rule, not ours.

Later

Duos and expeditions: pair your Miru with a friend's and take on week-long journeys neither of you can finish alone. New evolution lines, voted on by founders.

The honest part

  • Miru does not exist yet. There is no app to download today. You are pre-ordering something that is about to be built, and founders will see every step of the build.
  • Android ships first. iPhone follows. If you are on iOS, your egg waits with your number on it, or you take the refund.
  • The hundred eggs fund the build. If the idea does not find its hundred believers, it does not deserve to be built, and everyone gets their money back.
  • You will get honest progress updates, including the boring parts and the broken parts.

Who is building this

A doctor, weirdly.

I just finished medical school. Six years of studying how bodies break taught me something no lecture intended: most of what walked into the clinic came down to the same quiet things. Not moving. Not sleeping. Never looking up from a screen.

Nobody needed another app scolding them about it. The scolding apps already lost. I wanted something that simply notices when you live well, the way a dog notices you came home. So I am building a pet that does.

Questions you should be asking

Does the app exist right now?

No. That is the whole point of this page. You are pre-ordering the build, refundable any time before launch.

Why would I pay for something that does not exist?

You should not, unless you want to be one of the hundred who shape it, keep lifetime Plus, and hold a numbered egg. If that is not you, wait for launch and download it free. Genuinely.

What is free and what will cost money?

The pet is free, forever. Every sense, all growth, every evolution line, basic duos with a friend, and the Fuel log: speak your meals, get your protein and macros back, and what roughly covers the gap. No ads, ever. Plus is the layer only Miru can build: the Fuel coach (advice that knows how you trained and slept that day, not just what you ate), the Memoir (an illustrated archive of everything your pet has witnessed), the Sanctuary (settle a fully evolved creature and hatch your next egg), the long expeditions, and your pet living on your home screen and watch face. If another app already does something better on its own, we simply do not sell it. Plus will launch as a normal subscription, planned around ₹999 or $29 a year. Founders never pay it. And one rule holds forever: you cannot pay Miru to believe you. Money never buys growth.

What is the point of the creature?

Your living is invisible. Steps evaporate, sleep evaporates, the evening you did not scroll leaves no trace anywhere. Charts turn that living into homework. Miru turns it into something alive that you can watch grow, and because it cannot be lied to, what it becomes actually means something. It is months of your real life, standing there looking back at you.

I have an iPhone.

Android ships first, iOS after. Presence, the off-phone sense, will be looser on iPhone because Apple restricts what apps can see. Your egg keeps your number while you wait, or you can refund it any time before launch.

Do I need a smartwatch?

No. Your phone alone covers your steps, your time off the screen, and a rough read on your sleep, so your Miru grows fine without one. A watch just adds the one thing a phone cannot see: your workouts, since you barely move when you lift and the phone is sitting in a locker. If you train without a watch, you can Show Miru instead, a quick recording of the session, which is about as hard to fake as actually doing it. Works on your phone, better with a watch, never blocked without one.

Can I cheat it?

You can try. There are no buttons to lie to, and Miru only counts what sensors report. The Fuel log you speak into shapes your advice, never your pet's growth, so lying to it only buys you worse advice. The only way to make Miru grow is the inconvenient one: actually living.

What about my privacy?

Miru is being designed so raw sensor data stays on your phone, and the pet reads signals, not content. Before launch there will be a plain-English privacy page listing exactly what is read and what, if anything, leaves your device. Founders see it first.

When does it launch?

When it is honestly good, and not before. Founders get the first Android beta and progress updates the whole way. If you stop believing at any point before launch, take the refund.

One hundred eggs.
One honest pet.

If you have deleted five trackers and still want your life to move, this was built for that exact feeling. Take a number.
